You've been taught that emotions are just feelings — chemical reactions in the brain, psychological responses to stimuli. But what if emotions are something far more significant?
Emotions generate energy. Not metaphorically. Literally. When you feel intensely — rage, terror, grief, ecstasy — something is produced. Something measurable. Something valuable.
Robert Monroe called this energy "loosh." Ancient traditions called it prana, chi, life force. The name doesn't matter. What matters is understanding that your emotional output isn't just experienced — it's harvested.
This isn't about suppressing emotions. That would be missing the point entirely. Emotions are part of being human, part of why consciousness chose to incarnate here.
The question is: who benefits from your emotional energy? When you spiral into anxiety, who feeds? When you rage at the news, who drinks? When you despair at 3am, who feasts?
Breathing manually interrupts the unconscious emotional loop. It creates a pause — a moment where you can feel without being consumed. Where you can generate energy consciously rather than having it siphoned automatically.
Your emotions are yours. Breathe manually.
