The Resistance
Notice how hard it is to sit with yourself. The urge to check your phone. The sudden need to do something, anything. This resistance is the first thing meditation reveals.
What you resist persists. Meditation is the practice of non-resistance — allowing what is, without needing to change it.
Beyond Technique
There are countless methods, but they all point to the same thing: stop. Be still. Watch. The technique matters less than the consistency.
One conscious breath is a meditation. You've already begun.
