Before the Big Bang, what was there? Before time began, what existed? Before the first thought, what was aware?
Source.
Source is the ground of being. The unmanifest from which all manifestation emerges. The silence between notes that makes music possible. The blank canvas that allows any picture to appear.
Every spiritual tradition points to Source, though they use different names. Brahman. The Tao. Ein Sof. The Void. Allah. The Absolute. The names are fingers pointing at the moon — don't mistake them for the moon itself.
Source isn't a being among beings. It's the being of all beings. Not a thing that exists, but existence itself. Not a consciousness that's aware, but awareness itself.
And here's the secret the mystics whisper: you've never left Source. You can't. Separation from Source is impossible because there's nothing outside Source to be separated into. The feeling of separation is the game, not the reality.
You are Source, dreaming that you're a separate self. The dream is valuable — it's how Source experiences itself from infinite perspectives. But eventually, every dreamer wakes up.
Breathing manually is how you begin to remember. Each conscious breath points back toward Source. Not as a destination to reach, but as a reality to recognise. You're already home. Breathe manually.
